Lord Byron was an English poet and a leading figure in the Romantic movement. His most notable works include his long narrative poems such as Don Juan and Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, in addition his short lyric She Walks in Beauty. He was great friends with Percy Bysshe and Mary Shelley - and it while they stayed with him in the summer of 1816 that she composed Frankenstein.
