Item #368688

One the great collections of short fiction in American literature, containing Melville's most famous short stories, including “Bartleby,” “Benito Cereno,” “The Encantadas”, etc., most of which had originally been published in Putnam's.

The nicer of two copies from Doheny's collection, a nice copy of a book rarely seen in decent condition.
