Welsh journeyed through the Reservation, meeting with administrators, examining schools, meeting with several Native Americans among them “The Hump,” White Thunder and Bull Eagle and especially listening to the situation with the Sioux Agreement. He describes the situation with Red Cloud and his eventual arrest. He also describes a visit to the Crow camp.
