Bound in modern brown quarter polished calf, ruled in blind, in six compartments, gilt morocco spine label, original marbled paper-covered boards, .Front pastedown of each volume has owner's contemporary engraved armorial bookplate ("Augustus Murphy") and contemporary ink name ("Emily Beaumont"). All three volumes have been professionally rebacked with matching polished calf, extremities of covers are a bit rubbed, else a very good triple-decker, with text in each volume fresh and clean.
