Designed by Frankenthaler's husband, the great abstract expressionist, Robert Motherwell. This copy inscribed to the art historian and curator Charles Moffett: "For Charles and Jane, Congratulations! Happy days, Fond thoughts, Sincerely, Helen Frankenthaler, Sept '79" with a scrap of kraft paper with Frankenthaler's return address tipped in to the front free endpaper in her hand
The book is not dated, but the last articles and exhibitions come from January 1970.
