With a tipped-in autograph letter signed ("Wm De Morgan") to editor Perriton Maxwell, dated August 16, 1915, reading in part, "Did you receive the MS posted to you on the 12th (or 11th: it may have been)? Please send a word on a card" and with a black-and-white portrait photograph of De Morgan affixed to the front pastedown.
