First edition in wrappers of Coleridge's Christmas drama modeled after Shakespeare's Winter's Tale and written with Byron's encouragement. The play was rejected by Drury Lane and Covent Garden but found favor with the reading public, leading to its eventual stage production at the Surrey Theater under the title Zapolya: or the Warwolf.
A fine copy in wrappers; Wise notes that Zapolya was issued in either boards or wrappers.
