Account of the author's third visit to Louisiana, then a Spanish colony, in 1771-1772. According to Sabin, the 1778 edition differs from the 1777 only in the title page. His first book, published in 1768, landed him in prison and explains the fictitious Amsterdam imprint in this work. This title is the least common of Bossu's writings on Louisiana.
