An almost unprocurable Derrydale Press title. The book appeared in two bindings: red paper boards with a printed white label, and in full leather with gilt medallion on upper cover. Both are uncommon, and, although the number in the deluxe leather binding is not known, in fact, copies in boards are seen only rarely. We have never seen copies bearing a number highter than 175. Siegel states that "We understand from a reliable source that upon housekeeping after Mr. Reynal's death, a large carton of Thoughts Upon Hunting Kit was taken to the dump ... "
