A fine rendering of a Hussar on horseback. Thulstrup (1836-1902), along with his younger brother Bror Thure Thulstrup (1848-1930), are known for their drawings of military scenes. The elder brother lived his entire life in Sweden, but Bror moved to America and lived there from 1872 until his death in 1930.
