Written on 20 leaves of toned paper with hand-painted silver borders, this is a charming manuscript of eight poems, each enhanced with illuminated initials and decorations in watercolor, and containing an ink frontispiece, and a total of nine illustrations in ink and watercolor. The text is written in a decorative hand, evidently of the author's devising, rich with embellishments, the manuscript is dated AD MCMXXIX, and is dedicated “to Patience, the greatest friend of the bookmaker”, and the whole production is obviously a labor of love.
