    Catalogue 145 is a comprehensive offering of the works of Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986) from the private collection of Gary Oleson, proprietor with Franny Ness of Waiting for Godot Books in Hadley, Massachusetts. The items are listed chronologically.  As with the writings of Borges, patterns and connections will reveal themselves across these pages. The catalogue is published on the occasion of a Borges centenary, the hundredth anniversary of the publication of his first book of poems, Fervor de Buenos Aires (1923).

    We are pleased to present Catalogue 143: Literature, a selection from the inventory of Waiting for Godot Books with highlights such as Percy Shelley's Essays, Letters from Abroad, Translations, and Fragments, inscribed by Mary Shelley, and a corrected typescript of Truman Capote's The House of Flowers.
