This pseudo-autobiographical work by Pound was the first book produced by Three Mountains Press. It is rare in unbound sheets.
In this book, which disguises family names but is concerned primarily with the story of Homer Pound, Ezra's father, Pound proposed that "one could write the whole social history of the United States from one's family annals" (ODNB). This work was published a year before Pound moved from Paris to Rapallo, Italy, on account of the weather and Pound's health.
