Adolfo Best Maugard was a Mexican Painter, 1891-1964. Best Maugard established and promoted a new drawing teaching method, based on popular art elements and on the study of pre-Columbian forms, that was part of the nationalistic environment of that time. The theory standed out that with seven primary lines any natural form could be built.
