Paul Brown is best known for his illustrations of horses and equestrian sports, as well as some of his books, published with The Derrydale Press, Dodd, and others. He also illustrated Brooks Brothers catalogs for decades.
Brown's pencil sketches relied on his keen powers of observation and he was known for his photographic memory, which allowed him to accurately recreate scenes long after the fact.
