The first page includes the list of contents and Stranton's Preface (continued overleaf), with the rest of the second page devoted to an index of names whom "in her inimitable way, relates anectdotes of, and experience with," including Lady Byron, Frederick Douglass, Ralph Waldo Emerson, William Lloyd Garrison, Ulysses S. Grant, Lucretia Mott, Robert Dale Owen, Lucy Stone, and more. Press comments about the book appear on pages 5 and 6. The middle leaf, tipped in at the gutter presumably as issued, is an advertisement for both parts of The Woman's Bible, including a list of the revising committee, descriptions of each volume (Part I being the Third American and Part II being the First American edition), offered for sale at $.50 a piece, with press comments on verso.
