This narrative was first published in the Danville Gazette in 1944 detailing a trip from Indiana to Texas in 1878 by way of sending along the better wagons and horses from Lizton, Indiana to a new one in Brasos country Texas. Recounted for this retelling by two of the 4 travelers that made the journey. Two large tipped in photos on photographic paper show the men as they gathered in Indiana in 1906 and again in 1924.
