Privately printed account of a world tour by a wealthy family in 1875-76, liberally illustrated with beautiful photographs. The author travelled through China, Japan, Siam, Ceylon, India, Egypt, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Great Britain.
The flyleaf of this copy bears a presentation inscription: "To Mr. G.L. Herrick with kind regards from the author. H.E.F."
