A lovely, unsophisticated copy in the original binding.
Perhaps because of Puritanical bias, no edition of any of Shakespeare's works appeared in America until little known separate printings of Hamlet and Twelfth Night by the Boston Theater in 1794. A set of Shakespeare's complete works was published in Philadephia between 1795-96, with the present separate edition of the Poems following.
