Three volumes of this Society's publication (entitled Memoirs Read before the Anthropological Society of London) were published between 1865-1870); Burton contributed to the first two volumes. Volume I contains his "Notes on certain Matters connected with the Dahoman" at pp. 308-321; and volume II (pp. 292-93) contains his "Notes on an Hermaphrodite." Beautiful copies, with a fine provenance.
