36 photographic postcards. 6 X 5 inches. Inscribed. Cardboard box with black-and-white photograph on cover, signature on reverse, glossy postcards inside. Box slightly faded, worn and chipped at edges, postcards also slightly faded but otherwise crisp.

A box set of postcards documenting Christo's "Wrapped" installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in 1969. With an inscription from Christo to Mrs Weitzen on the inside of the box's cover.
"The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago was the first public building in the USA wrapped by Christo and Jeanne-Claude. In conjunction with the project, the artists made a complementary work for the interior, Wrapped Floor and Stairway."
