An inscribed, first edition of Bill Gates' first book. The Road Ahead was a collaboration between Gates, Nathan Myhrvold (Microsoft's first CTO), and Peter Rinearson (former Microsoft vice president and Pulitzer Prize winner). This first edition, published in 1995, was heavily revised for a second, 1996 edition.
The inscription reads, "To Charlie, Best wishes, Bill Gates."
