Presentation of a dozen Argentine poets of the Tango, with portraits, profiles, and a suite of original serigraph prints by contemporary artists, produced under the auspices of the Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, for Buenos Aires Week in New York, 14 to 18 October 1986.
The poets include Jorge Luis Borges, with a print of El hombre de la esquina rosada by Pablo Suarez, and commentary on the late Borges by his friend Adolpho Bio Casares. Other authors include Eladia Blazquez, Horacio A. Ferrer, Homero A. Esposito, Catulo Castillo, Homero Manzi, Enrique Santos Discepolo, Alfredo Lepera, Celedonio Flores, Enrique Cadicamo, Francisco Garcia Gimenez, and Pascual Contursi. The other artists are Clorindo Testa, Carlos Gorriarena, Carlos Sessano, Carlos Alonso, Luis Benedit, Jorge Demirjian, Ricardo Carpani, Hermenegildo Sabat, Alfredo Plank, Daniel Crespo Alzogaray, Miguel Ocampo, Pérez Celis.
