"Christopher, a Rangoon lawyer, recounts his experiences in the Burmese jungles. After chapters detailing the choosing of rifles and shikaris, with additional notes on how to hunt game, he shares his adventures hunting tiger near Shweygyeen, with other tigers collected at Pugyi. There are also sections on hunting gaur and bison, with interesting chapters on shooting rhinoceros, also near Pugyi. In the Tharrawaddy District, he collected thamin, tsine, and hog deer. In addition there are chapters on hunting and taming Burmese elephants. A scarce work" (Czech).
