With a leaf at the front captioned “Pétition” signed by Monteil the 9th March 1836. Among the areas his collection covered are roads, canals, history of finance and financiers, history of commerce, engineering, agriculture, customs, schools, hospitals, laws, medicine, mines, prisons, science and government. The manuscripts were sold by the Maison Silvestre the 26 November 1835.
