Zane Grey writes this letter to Buffalo Jones, the subject of 1908's "Last of the Plainsmen", with whom he has had a minor falling out: "Yours re'd from Salt Lake. There is a letter there for you now...I have written you several letters, and it is not my fault if you do't get them...I am very sorry you and Wallace falling out...I have a wonderful collection of photographs, seventeen of you up in trees after lions and two of lions in the air. It might be alright to send Roosevelt some pictures ... I shall not do any publishing until fall, and I hope to see you before then. I don't object to reading my manuscript to you before publication. Our little differences will not cut any figure in the story...."
