The first Italian edition published in Venice in 1560, with the Editio Prinseps in Greek published in Basel in 1544. Josephus' works provide a comprehensive history of the Jews from Creation to the end of the war with Rome, important for its description of the destruction of Jerusalem and the burning of the Temple. Scarce, with only a single example of this edition in OCLC.
