Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont (1711-1780) was a Royal Governess, Teacher, Popular Novelist, Educational Writer for Women and Children. She settled in London and started a Monthly Magazine for Women: "Nouveau Magasin" and the first woman editor of a woman's magazine.
