Wonderful collection of inscriptions and signatures of some of France's most celebrated actors and actresses of French stage and screen, all inscribed to the album's owner, "Michel", evidently a budding actor. The collection includes inscriptions/signatures from JEAN GABIN, FERNANDEL, ARLETTY, VIVIAN ROMANCE, JEAN TISSIER, CECILE AUBRY, and many others, including Hollywood screen idol, MYRNA LOY.
In addition, artist JEAN-LOUIS MARCEL COSSON (1878-1956), known for his scenes of opera, circus, ballet, and theatre, has provided a fine pencil drawing of "l'Institut de Paris", inscribed (à Michel, affectueusement") and signed ("Cosson").
An unusual and rare album of its kind.
