The Queen's Shop was a small private press and bindery run by Daniel Edwards Kennedy which published at least 4 books of which we know. Ransom, in fact, found only the fourth book of the press, and knew nothing else about The Queen's Shop. Three of those were by Kennedy, the fourth a translation of Dante's Vita Nuova by Charles Eliot Norton in an edition of only 30 copies. The present title was the first book of The Queen's Shop and was the author's first book.
