These tales were told by Sheikh Sulaiman al-Kretli and were put together by John Gayer-Anderson's brother T.G. Gayer-Anderson after his brother's death. He owned the house Bait al-Kretliya which with all his Islamic treasure reverted back to the Egyptian State on his death.
