Weldon") and dated lower left; docketed on verso of mount "Lion, China,1881 (one of his favorites) by Charles Weldon Member Natl Academy and Watercolor Society.". 16 x 7.5 cm; 6-1/4 x 3-1/8 inches. Mounted to artist's board (chipped at bottom). Board soiled, drawing affected by slight abrasions and staining.
