Bound in mid-19th-century high Victorian green morocco, richly gilt, covers with wheel centerpiece surrounded by 4 raised triangles froming a cross heavily gilt, four gilt stamped raised bands, raised head and tail caps gilt, edges carmine with gilt gauffering, with inner contemporary buckram joint at front and rear. Some loss of upper margin and lower portion of frontispiece. Frontispiece, title, and table mounted, a few marginal repairs, not affecting text. In quarter morocco and cloth folding case. New Wing C 1588.
