A manuscript sermon on Psalm 119:115: Depart from me ye evil doers. Seabury served as the long-time Anglican minister to St. George's in Hempstead, but also preached at Christ Church on nearby Oyster Bay. However, he is best remembered as the father of the Bishop Samuel Seabury, the infamous Loyalist minister and during the pre-Revolutionary years political rival of Alexander Hamilton.
