Requesting 10 copies of Monsieur Belcher(?)'s poems, mentioning an article he read “on our Plato” which was “exceptionally nice to all of us”, requesting an address and asking for the publisher/bookseller to send some books with his compliments to Mr. Joussier.

And early letter from the philosopher and educator Victor Cousin (1792-1867), who, around this period, began his brilliant translation of the works of Plato, ultimately in 13 volumes. Bossange was his publisher.
