Transcripts made from tapes of Ginsberg's lectures at Naropa, entitled "The Complete Naropa Lectures of Allen Ginsberg", volumes I-III; with two classes entitled "Spiritual Poetics Lecture" (numbers I-II), given on July 29, July 31, 1974, and "Radio Interview with Duncan Campbell for 'Open Secret'" in "July", 1974. In both of the course transcriptions, the tape runs out before the end of the session, and the radio interview stops in the middle of the sentence on page 41, so must be incomplete. The first lecture has a note in Ginsberg's hand, and the second one likely in the hand of Jacqueline Gens, his longtime archivist and secretary.

Wide-ranging lectures on Ginsberg's personal poetics, delivered in 1974 – the first year of Naropa Institute – covering his own poems, those of his peers like Jack Kerouac and Anne Waldman, and his influences like William Blake and Walt Whitman.
