The entries by Roberts cover the period from February 4, 1909 to February 3, 1910 and include details of her involvement with Emmeline Pankhurst's Woman’s Social and Political Union and on Marian Wallace-Dunlop's famous hunger strike and the forced feeding of prisoners thereafter. The author, a nurse at the London Maternity hospital, also published Five Months in a London Hospital (1911), though it is unclear if her name was a pseudonym and whether her narrative was autobiographical or fictional. Scarce.
