Crehore was the inventor of the “Polarizing Photo-chronography,” (measures short intervals of time) of the “Synchronography (with G. O. Squier) which was used for high and low speed telegraphy, of the “Micrograph” which recorded heard actions and the “Interferometer Barography” which stydies waves of pressure in the atmosphere. He had long done research in the field of atomic physics.
