Folio. Bound in quarter cream canvas with illustrated gray boards, black text on spines that have some toning. Double page titles in each volume, early ownership in ink on fep of both, frontispiece of Chaucer at in Volume 1, with ruled pages and colored initials at the beginning of each tale. In publisher's slipcase with illustrated titles on spine, slight bump at foot of slipcase, else a very good set.
