Inscribed “To Miss Eliza Parkman with the kindliest greetings of The Parkman Club of Milwaukee.” The Parkman Club was organized December 10th 1895 for study of the history of the northwest. This was the first of their publications. Perrott was the most successful of the French emissaries among the Western Indians.
