Mathilde Peat (1888-1965), née Guillou, was a close friend and companion to Lillie Langtry in her later years. In the 1920s Peat was resident in Monaco, where Lady de Bathe died. She was one of a handful of mourners at Lillie’s funeral (and a substantial beneficiary in her will).
