Brown cloth. Owner's contemporary ink name on second front flyleaf ("Mathias Miller, August 24, 1882"), and again on verso of frontispiece [he is listed in the Alumni section as a member of the class of 1845]. Spine is lightly faded, with moderate wear at spine tips and corners. Binding is shaken, front and rear hinges cracked, few creased tears to unprinted tissue guards, else a good copy.
