Contemporary purple cloth, with panel reading "Leigh's Guide to Wales and Monmouthshire" showing Conway Castle laid down on upper cover. Cloth faded with some browning and rubbing, upper joint cracked, some tears in cloth, waterstaining in gutter at front, some marginal staining and light browning, else very good with the 1840 signature of Charles Marin on the endpaper Item #33199
