First edition, unrecorded variant issue, in blue (remainder) binding, not noted by Kirkpatrick [see Kirkpatrick A10a; 5000 copies printed]. 325, [3, ads]pp. 8vo. Top edge and fore-edge are lightly foxed, bit of faint scattered foxing on title page, else a near fine, bright copy in very good dust jacket (with cancel price label on front panel "offered at 3/6," with original printed price intact on spine "7/6 net"). The jacket is quite browned on spine, with few short tears and shallow chipping at tips of spine (with early clear tape mends on verso), cancel price sticker shadow on lower spine (with slight paper residue), front and rear panels are tanned and a bit soiled, with few short closed tears and nicks to extremities (with few early tape mends on verso), else a very good copy of a scarce dust jacket Kirkpatrick A10a; Connolly 100, Modern Movement title (No. 45).
