"Anton Reiser" is a pseudonym for Einstein's son-in-law, Rudolph Kayser. In Einstein's one-page preface, he writes that "The author of this book is someone who knows me rather intimately in my endeavor, thoughts, beliefs -- in bedroom slippers..." The biography is noted as Louis Zukofsky's first book (i.e. translated anonymously by Zukofsky). An elusive title, the work is rarely encounted signed by Einstein.
