First 17 numbers of this scarce periodical devoted entirely to the Canal project and related subjects; it includes progress reports, bulletins from Egypt on local conditions as they relate to the project, international "faits divers", etc. In 1859 the plans of Ferdinand de Lesseps were followed for the development of the canal, which was completed ten years later. The periodical continued until 1866.
