Artist and stage designer Gordon Craig writes Quinn in some confusion, inquiring if he has received earlier communications from Craig regarding the funding of a proposed trip to America, noting that he is sending “several copies” of this letter, and signed “with greetings, Yours sincerely, Gordon Craig”
As Reid notes, in the absence of pledges from Quinn or others, “the whole impulse quietly died.”.
