1a Gloucester Walk, Campden Hill, London: [n.d. 1914-1918].
Ink on ruled paper, signed across a penny stamp of George V. 5 x 5 inches. Traces of Ezra Pound in London. Paper flaws in bottom corner, else fine Provenance: John Quinn; his sister, by descent. Item #323100
A curious receipt to Ezra Pound signed by artist Fanny Wadsworth, wife of Edward Wadsworth, active during the war years as a Vorticist and who produced a substantial body of work, numbering some 85 prints 1913-1925. The connection with Ezra Pound likely dates this to circa 1914, for Pound wrote on Wadsworth in The Egoist for 15 August 1914.
