Autograph manuscript of angling records, comments, and narrative descriptions. Upper board a bit worn with loss to corners, occasional toning and foxing to text leaves, but otherwise a very good record in a neat hand. He fished in Fla, Texas, NJ, Mexico, R.I., Nova Scotia
Note to upper cover reads, "Found this in Dwight M. Simmons personal belongings when he died in Boca Raton, Fla. Feb. 7, 1985". The first leaf is headed, "My largest fish of the various Species caught during my life in Salt Water, Species Albacore---Yellowtail" with list in chart form the species, weight, and location of catch for each. Following are narrative descriptions of each of these catches in a neat pen hand. These are amzingly full descriptions and some of his catches were cup winners. The Cero, "Kingfish" or "King Mackarel" caught was the largest of the season at Aransas, Texas and he won the Silver Cup.
