Clarence Campbell Hunicke (1890-1936), graduate in engineering in the NYU class of 1914, and a New York City patent lawyer, recounts the camping and fishing trip of a group of friends from New York City to the Wigwam Camp on Lake Ki-osh-ko-qui at the northern edge of the Algonquin Park in Ontario, in photographs and short typewritten vignettes. Gus Windolph and Grace Campbell (known in the text as Jim) joined Roy Bromelmeier and Hunicke (known as Herk) and a mixed party of others, canoeing, camping, and relaxing in the Canadian outdoors. Some fish were caught, others got away.

A charming account of a vacation in the 1920s.
